I haven't managed to update this as much as I wanted recently but as everyone knows, its been a pretty crazy few months and I hope everyone reading this is staying safe!
I've been cleaning up different areas of the base design of the ship while finalising the rear engine array and cockpit area. The engine area is still white box as i want to make sure im happy with the cockpit shape and feel first as the shape of that area influences the rear section. The cockpit has some way to go and i need to get the interior in there soon, along with a final mechanism and intakes along the top.
I'm going to spend some time getting some material presets together, still not sure whether to go down the tiling texture route with alpha for damage and blends or a more traditional texture set approach, i might unwrap and test both ideas on a small chunk at some point!
